Building a Conscious Wardrobe – Pop CBR does sustainable fashion with Emma Leiden

Join Pop CBR and the editor of Leiden Magazine Emma Batchelor for an informal evening of discussion and connection off the back of Fashion Revolution Week.

Emma is the editor and lead author of Building a Conscious Wardrobe and other fun things, a book full of practical information on conscious consumerism when it comes to fashion and beauty. In the last month she has attended two national conferences on sustainable fashion and textiles as well as completed a short course on sustainability and luxury fashion, knowledge which she is looking forward to sharing.

What we will be talking about:

  • practical tips on buying, styling, caring and disposing of your clothes in a more conscious way
  • how to make sustainable decisions that suit your lifestyle and budget
  • why you shouldn’t always trust ethical fashion guides and ratings systems
  • the latest news and innovations in fashion and sustainability

What else?

  • drinks and nibbles will be provided
  • get to know other people with an interest in sustainability and supporting local makers
  • Pop will be open for attendees to shop locally made gifts, homewares and produce
