A Few Outfits

Polka Dot PartyIMG_5761

Dress: Gorman

Bag: Vintage Chanel

Shoes: Miu Miu

The Look: Flirty black layers with pops of pink, what’s not to love? This dress comes as two separate dresses making it super good value. I bought it in Melbourne and discovered the security tag was still on when I got home. My boyfriend Jesse smashed it off with a hammer so I could wear it to the opening night of the Ladies in Black musical.

Balenciaga for Less

Dress: H&M

Shoes: MR by Man Repeller

The Look: This is another bargain that I picked up from H&M in Melbourne. A forgiving floaty cut, extra long sleeves, and a powerful floral print all for $30.

The Ultimate Cat Lady

Coat: Stella McCartney

Top: Stella McCartney

Skirt: Carven

Shoes: Charlotte Olympia

The Look: When I first saw the cat prints from this Stella McCartney resort collection on instagram I knew I had to get something. I stalked the Stella McCartney website and Net-a-Porter for months waiting for them to go on sale. I picked up the top on sale through Farfetch first and about another month or so later came across the coat on mega sale and snapped that up too.

An Ode to Burberry

Coat: Vintage Burberry

Shirt: H&M

Skirt: Country Road

Boots: Kenzo

The Look: My little ode to the Burberry February collection. I picked up this Burberry Trench at a flea market in Amsterdam for super cheap. I love playing with the proportion of this sculptural shirt and a teeny gingham mini.

Business Time

Blazer: Vintage Chanel

Dress: H&M

Shoes: Miu Miu

Belt: Gucci

The Look: Today I felt like getting dressed up. I was looking way to fancy for work but sometimes you just have to go with your gut, and own being overdressed.

Emma Batchelor

Emma Batchelor

As well as a near obsessive interest in fashion, Emma is a former scientist, occasional contemporary dancer, avid reader and self-confessed cat lady (she has three). Emma lived in Leiden in the Netherlands as a baby and Leiden ought to have been her middle name had her mother thought of it at the time and not chosen Louise instead.
