A Few Things I Wore This Week

The JockeyIMG_5043

Hat: Unknown

Top: Vintage Chanel

Jumpsuit: Veronika Maine

Shoes: Country Road mules

Bag: Mimco

The Look: Last Saturday I was very lucky to be a judge for the SERA Country Championships Fashions On The Field at the Goulburn Race Track. The weather was a bit crazy on the day so I decided to channel my inner jockey.

On Ode to Gingham

Top: Country Road

Skirt: Country Road

Shoes: Simone Rocha

The Look: I love gingham and I love this combo. My boyfriend Jesse meanwhile thought I looked like a tea towel. He also hates these shoes and tried to take them off me. I wouldn’t normally wear these fluffy shoes to work but I am still dealing with the aftermath of a horrific blister and have had to get creative with my backless shoes.

The Bumblebee

Top: Topshop Unique

Skirt: Country Road

Shoes: Charlotte Olympia

Bag: Vintage Celine

The Look: Here I am channeling my inner bumblebee. I love loose shapes cinched at the waist as they suit my hourglass figure.

Pajama Dressing

Top: Matin Studio

Shorts: Country Road

Sandals: Country Road

The Look: as it was so hot I thought I would pair loose pajama inspired separates. I would have dearly loved to go to work with my buttons undone but for modesty’s sake, I did do them up before leaving the house.

Emma Batchelor

Emma Batchelor

As well as a near obsessive interest in fashion, Emma is a former scientist, occasional contemporary dancer, avid reader and self-confessed cat lady (she has three). Emma lived in Leiden in the Netherlands as a baby and Leiden ought to have been her middle name had her mother thought of it at the time and not chosen Louise instead.
