Getting dressed is more than just putting clothes on your back or striving to look ‘on trend’. It’s about expressing your personality and feeling great. Team Leiden likes to get dressed up and we want to tell you all about what we wore to night two of Fashfest and why.

Dress – Tonight I was lucky enough to wear a dress by local designer Karen Lee. I loved the classic cut and minimal print of the fabric.
Shoes – These are the same Mimco heels that Lexi wore on the Thursday night. I wanted to wear high heels to balance out the volume of the dress.
Bag – This Mulberry bag belongs to my Mum and I borrow it rather a lot. It’s the perfect size because it actually fits my wallet in.
Coat – I bought this vintage Burberry trench for 50 euros at a flea market in Amsterdam. Such a bargain.
Hair – Another amazing style by Sheree Yap at Kundalini Salon. I felt a bit old hollywood and it reminded me of how Charlotte Dellal (the designer behind Charlotte Olympia) styles her hair.

Jumper — What better thing to wear to the Fashfest finale than more Kenzo? I dressed down tonight so that nothing would interfere with the wonder of my jumper. I got it at Incu Melbourne for my 22nd birthday and it’s been a faithful companion ever since.
Socks — I may not want anything to distract from my jumper, but I just can’t resist a fancy pair of socks. These are from a brand called Bonne Maison; I found them a few weeks ago in a sweet little boutique somewhere between Canberra and Kiama (I want to say Mittagong). This is the first time I’ve worn them and they’re so comfy and they look so cool I might just have to track down some more.
The rest – You’ve seen it all before.

Shirt – I borrowed this of Emma [Batchelor]. It’s Stella McCartney. I really love the print.
Skirt – This is from Country Road. This type of skirt really suits my body shape and the leather adds a tough luxe element.
Shoes – These Diana Ferrari heeled oxfords are my favourite shoes. They are super wearable but the heel is just high enough for a simple feminine elegance.
