Mercedes Benz Fashion Festival is in full swing with the fash-pack out in force, strutting the streets of Sydney one designer heel after another. This year the festival has moved from April to May to align itself with the International Resort Season in hopes of attracting more international attention.
Australians often have a unique perspective on fashion, partly due to our isolation from the four fashion capitals, and partly due to our unique culture. Australian fashion is often regarded as sexy, athletic and relaxed but it is so much more than that.
Designers, models, buyers, influencers, editors, and bloggers have been showcasing the diversity of Australian fashion and style all this week. We have created a little mood board of some of our favourite looks so far. Although with so much inspiration on the runways and streets of Sydney, we will have plenty more to share soon.
