Mummies are Lovely

‘Mummies are Lovely’ by Meredith Costain and Polona Lovisin

Mothers Day, that day that rolls around once a year dedicated to celebrating all the mums out there is here. Although you would have been in no doubt that it was coming as you wandered through your local shopping centre or trawled your social media feed. The world is awash with numerous shades of pink, fluffy dressing gowns and flowers . I mean, all mothers love pink don’t they?

On Mothers day most of us aim to get our mum something special and luxurious, something that she wouldn’t normally buy herself. This can be no mean feat as mums, being the independent ladies that they are, often buy themselves what they want when they want — or mine sure does.

Presents and meals are lovely and all, but what’s really important is to show mum how much you love and appreciate her. It’s important to treasure our mums not just on Mother’s Day, but every day.

Mummies are lovely.
