At the beginning of the year I set a number of style goals for myself. These were to: Buy less and make better use of what I already have. Buy better quality, investment pieces and avoid fast fashion. Shop as ethically as possible. Be bolder in my styling and to have as much fun with my clothes as possible. 2017’s Word of the Year has its roots in Fashion


  Back in December the Oxford Dictionary announced their word of the year as ‘youthquake’. There has apparently been a huge upsurge in usage of the word in 2017 compared to 2016, however, having not encountered the word being used once in a sentence during 2017, we were as surprised as everyone else as what the Oxford data revealed.   In the wake of the harrowing reports of rampant sexual misconduct committed by Harvey Weinstein and the resulting #MeToo movement, stories of misconduct and abuse across a range of industries are unfolding on a seemingly daily basis.
